I rebranded my free AI scanner from Clockd to WorthIt!

I recently rebranded my app from Clockd to WorthIt!

After working on the app for a few months, I realized the original name wasn't the best fit for what I was trying to build. I went back and forth on whether I should rebrand or just stick with the original name, but I'm glad I decided to make the change. I think WorthIt better communicates what the app does and makes it easier for new users to understand its purpose.

For anyone who hasn't heard of it, WorthIt is a tool designed to help you make smarter buying and selling decisions. 🛍️

You can use it to:

🏷️ Find deals and compare prices before buying something.
💰 See whether an item is worth buying at its current price.
📦 Get an idea of what something might sell for online if you're looking to flip or sell items.

The app is completely free to try, and I'd love for you to check it out!

[IOS] Clockd | Ai Scanner

A friend told me I’m adding too much and should strip it back. The four things it does today:

Scan an item → nearby + online price comps
Flip the same scan → resale value
Build a shopping list before you go, with best prices
Scan a receipt to log what you paid and what to buy again

Clockd is a scan-to-compare app. Point it at a shelf tag (or a receipt, or a list) and it shows nearby + online prices. You can also flip the same scan to see resale value.

I think those hang together. A new user might not. If you landed in the app cold, what would you cut, keep, or hide until later?

Any feedback would be amazing!

Hey everyone!

This is my first time posting about an app I’ve been working on called Clockd.

The idea behind Clockd is pretty simple: help you save money by knowing where you can get the best deal before you buy something.

I’m looking for people to download it, try it out, and tell me what you think. Try it at a gas pump, in a grocery store, hardware store, thrift/second-hand shop, or anywhere else where you’re comparing prices.

I’m especially interested in honest feedback—good or bad. I’m still working on improving the app, including making the AI responses faster and more accurate, so I’d love to hear about anything that feels confusing, slow, or just doesn't work the way you expected.

One feature I’m working on next is a grocery list that would let you build your list before going to the store and compare prices ahead of time.

If you’re willing to give Clockd a try, I’d really appreciate it. And if you do, please let me know what you think!
