Following up on my prior post. The Teeny Trio made it to 7 days old. Still tube fed. Gaining slowly but they’re gaining.

Little fighters.

This is Red Paw. Named for the food coloring I use a q-tip to paint their front paws with so I can tell the Trio apart in order to track feeds and weights. I can’t tell if they’re males or females yet.

Mama is much better, happier and eating. She won’t be able to nurse, and I’m very ok with that as long as she is healthy. So we are figuring out coparenting. ;)

Born on Saturday to a 7 month old mom kitten who doesn’t know how to mom and whose milk hasn’t come in. She’s a sweet girl. She’s been through a LOT and on medication now herself because she had a fever and wouldn’t eat.

They didn’t eat at all for first 24 hours and then that’s when help was requested.

Started with 6 babies and 3 survived so far. I feed the trio tube feed every 2-3 hours.

They’re gaining weight very slowly but they’re wiggly and mew-y and appropriately mobile for their age.

If you’re religious please put a prayer out there. Otherwise, some good thoughts and vibes and energy would be appreciated for mama girl and the trio.
