I just received a QF Day-Date 36mm and Longines Conquest from Felix.

Everything went smoothly, he has good prices, you have to have a little bit of patience with him and wait for his answers as he may be busy, but he usually answers in 24 hours.

He can source any watch from almost any factory. Waiting times are good. He didn't ask me to do any deposit before QC. He changed the first watch he had in stock by himself before even doing QC as he detected that there was a problem with the movement, which gives me confidence that he won't try to pass on me something that is not decent as other sellers do. Payment can be done in PayPal and he also offers insurance. Shipping took about 2 weeks.

So when we talk about watch snobbery and the circle of jerks around brands like Rolex and all the AD humiliation ritual thing, I feel proud of being part of a community that I thought was somehow different, but I am realizing that most people are the same? I will explain why

First of all, this is ChinaTime and I am posting here as I understand that people here are nicer overall, but the dynamic that I have experienced relates to how many assholes inside horology in general we have, and we have different levels:

- Gen: average brand cuck who thinks is somehow superior just because he bought a gen. Nothing new.

- Reps: this is where things get crazy. As we are anyways talking about fake watches, I think people who buy shitter level reps are the only ones with their feet on Earth. It can sound crazy but to me it's very pathetic how those who buy a better rep, tend to try to humiliate those with a lower tier one as if they didn't have a fake watch anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love high tier replicas and "shitters" are definitely not for me, but it's crazy to me how they can be so arrogant. And it goes to different categories, like the one with a VSF rep will humiliate someone with a shitter or lower tier factory, the one with a Deep xal will humiliate someone with VSF stock, the one with a franken will humiliate the one with Deep xal mod and finally the one with gen will put any rep on the same shitter fake watch level category anyways, which is the funniest thing. Personal opinion: wasting hundreds of money just to mod and franken high tier factory models which are almost already perfect in stock is a loss of money and I am convinced that most of them just can't tell a difference between it and it's just a psychological way to somehow feel superior as they "in theory" are "closer to gen".

I post this post because I just wanted to share my honest opinion on this topic. I have tried many times to find online friends with whom I could discuss, share or talk about this beautiful hobby (as my irl friends are not sm into watches or reps) and I have found nothing but arrogant people who behave like absolute dickheads. Maybe it has just been my personal experience, but that's how it is for me, so if anyone nice is in the same situation as me and would like to be friends to discuss this hobby feel free to send me a message 😅
