A few or 3 years ago, they started censoring a shit ton of russian music I like (Basically, any word related to drugs or some other "not good" topics) which are common topics on genres I enjoy. (Metal, rap/trap, and rave/electronic). It didnt affect me a lot then, couple songs per band etc. But lately, in this last year ALMOST every song has goofy ass sound effects as censorship for words. It is really ruining modern russian music for me. They already ruined my favorite russian rap track. And some other electronic songs that I like are ruined too. Is there an alternative? Of course, I'm refering to legal places, I mostly listen to music on Spotify so I dont care paying or migrating to another streaming service. Thanks in advance!

I bought the Darkglass tone capsule and installed according to the instructions. The thing is that the output level is very low. In fact, the output is exactly the same as the pickup wired directly to the output jack (Is a thing I tried while troubleshooting)

I tried everything I could imagine:

-Tested volume pot.

-Tested battery, it is providing around 9.8 volts

- Skipped volume pot just in case so pickups directly into the preamp

- Checked for shorts and continuity with multimeter

- Reasearching I found out that someone had with another preamp this same issue and it was an EQ pot that was brokem so I skipped all 3 EQ pots

- Inspected the preamp board looking for burnt components and everything seems fine.

- Swapped output jack for a new one I had stored.

The weird thing to me is that the output from the preamp is the same that pickups directly to the output jack. The preamp, without battery, makes the instrument to not sound so SOMETHING activates when theres battery, but doesn amplify anything, just lets the signal pass.

What am I missing out? Is the tone capsule just and active EQ and doesnt boost signal at all and I misunderstood its purpose?

EDIT: EQ pots do boost the signal, of course. So it appers to works perfectly, but everything at middle is very low output.
