Instant karma. Two awful left turns.

Video is from a little while ago but I hadn't shared it. I think it is pretty hilarious. This intersection is always trouble.

EDIT: I am maybe being too harsh on the first truck. Silver SUV also does a rolling stop. For additional clarity, it is a protected-permissive left turn. There is a green arrow, but you can also take a left turn on a green if you yield. In my opinion, the blue truck failed to yield to the cop motorcycle which should have gone through before it, but a variety of factors led up to that situation which make it excusable (the cop appears to have thought so himself).

Iconocolor - Solving a niche problem I had, folder icons + colors in one plugin.

TLDR below.

Ever delete or create a new folder, and your neat folder color gradient is ruined? This solves that problem. And does a whole lot more.

There's a whole lot of potential power, and features I cannot cover in this description. But basically:

Root folders can automatically be assigned a base color via palettes. Assignment of color can either be based on cycling through the palette, or by forming a gradient with the palette. Palettes can be switched via a command.

Children of a folder can inherit their parent's base color, or inherit a transition of it (A hue shift, or perhaps 10% lighter)

From these base colors, you can also define relationships. For example, the icon for the folder can be the same as the base, the text can be 10% lighter, and the background can be 20% darker.

These relationships are all automatically handled. They update when new folders are created.

But if you want, you can do this all manually! You can still just define folders and icons and their colors one by one.

Perhaps overkill for something that isn't really an issue, but I wanted my pretty colors to stay pretty. I also did not like having separate icon + folder color plugins, as they did not work neatly together. There is likely a bit of a learning curve to this plugin, but I think it is worth it! So, if anyone is interested, the plugin can be found @ https://community.obsidian.md/plugins/iconocolor. The GitHub can be found @ https://github.com/gavinpicard/iconocolor

FULL DISCLOSURE: AI ASSISTANCE WAS USED IN DEVELOPMENT. I am of course not proud of it, but as a full-time student I likely would not have been able to see this to completion without it. HOWEVER, I did my best to make it slop-free. All features were designed by me and their implementation is deliberate. This solved a problem for me, and I hope it does for others. Some even discovered the GitHub repo for this project despite me not advertising it. I will continuously update this project, and if you have any issues, feel free to submit an issue! ALSO, to the developers of Obsidian, the new community plugin handling is amazing. Thank you for your work. AND TO THE MODS, I am sorry about the AI slop & shilling you have to deal with, I am sure it is frustrating, but I hope I have set myself apart here.

TLDR;
Automatic folder (text + background + icon) color handling. Rather than two separate plugins, icons + colors in one. AI assistance was used to develop.
