New puppy alert!

New puppy alert!

Picking up this chunky boy in 4 weeks! Meet Koda, my assistance dog prospect! Im hoping he will grow into a beautiful service dog for me. I've always wanted a golden for the last 10 years, and with my new diagnosis of pots and gastroparesis I can't tell when my body will faint or I'll start violently being sick, but dogs can apparently pick up on that and I can't wait to bring him home and start training with Adolescent Dogs UK!

Any tips of tricks? I've done a lot of reading, the breeder has him on raw (well not right now cos he's still on mum at 4 weeks but he said he'll wean them onto raw) I was considering using royal canin the golden retriever breed specific food and raw I have about 4 different brushes (a slicker brush, a comb, a detangling brush, and some weird rake thing) I'm all decked out in terms of beds, crates, toys, I've got lots of different types of leads (a slip lead with an anti choking mechanism, a long line, a short line, a house line)
