Despite growing up in the 2000s, I miss the innovation and futuristic vibes of technology from that era. I remember watching many films and TV shows and seeing the iMac G3 and Vtech transparent phone, desperately wanting a blue or green one. Thankfully, I eventually got my blue Game Boy Color and silver Game Boy Advance🤪

This 20-page perzine is based on an essay I wrote about how my neglected childhood shaped me into a fangirl, leading to attachments to celebrities and parasocial relationships. These issues might have been prevented if I had received love, attention, and care from my parents. Instead, I overlooked the harm caused by these attachments for a longtime until my early twenties.

Made a “playlist” styled zine in the shape of a CD player. I scanned my CD player (front and back) on my scanner and put it into photoshop and canva to format it while using procreate for the doodles and drawings. The zine includes 10 songs that have impacted by life✨💫
