I’ve had my ‘26 R-Line since April, have put ~2k miles on it so far and have been overall happy with the purchase… except just this week on my 3hr drive to beach, my CarPlay started acting funky.

The Waze maps glitched mid trip on my infotainment so I closed the app and restarted it but it wouldn’t load back up. So then I restarted my infotainment mid-drive and toggled my phone in airplane mode to reconnect and it still hasn’t worked.

Since then I’ve deleted my phone from my VW and re-paired it thinking it might’ve fixed the problem but no luck. My phone connects via CarPlay fine but now when I pull up apps like Spotify and Waze it says they’re in ‘offline mode’ — so I can’t access any of my music on Spotify via CarPlay/infotainment and any destinations I try to put into Waze or Google maps, they won’t search/load.

When I got to setting it shows my phone is connected to CarPlay but it shows that Bluetooth is not connected.

I’m so puzzled and frustrated by this — curious if anyone else has had this happen or have any suggested solution? Thanks fam!

Officially joined the fam and purchased a ‘26 SEL R-Line in Pure Gray last week and plan to take it to get tinted in the next week. For others that have done tinting on their Atlas, any suggestions/recommendations?

- Did you just get your front 2 windows done to match the factory tint already in the rear or did you redo everything?

- Any recommendation whether to do the front windshield brow at the top or does it look bad?

Any input is much suggested, thanks!
