We are doing a trip soon and the route is all set but one decision, I can’t really find much on other than googles answer.
Could I have some opinions please. We plan to travel from Seville to Madrid, via either Cáceres or Córdoba. Which way is better for what, etc, please
We are not looking for which is the nicer drive, more so where is pleasant to stop for nights on the way.

Me and my girlfriend have almost finished our van and planning on doing... just as the title says!
We're not too bothered about France for this trip but will probably spend 3 or 4 days cruising through.
Rough plan is it focus on northern Spain, northeastern Spain, Portugal and then probably dip down into Seville and up back via Madrid for inland action. Any advice on whether this would be too rushed or about right would be greatly appreciated.
We are setting off start of September so hopefully missing the high season? (Going by UK summer holidays) and also kinda chasing some warmth by gradually heading south.
I've read on here elsewhere that it's a bit more hassle free / more spots out of high season, can anyone confirm or comment otherwise?
