I built a tool to help preserve family stories before they're lost.

Like many of you, I've struggled to capture my parents' and grandparents' stories before it's too late. I'd try to record conversations, but they'd end up scattered across my phone, never organized or shared.

So I built Everstory - a simple app that makes it easy to:

  • Record stories using voice dictation (especially helpful for older relatives)
  • Add photos and videos to bring memories to life
  • Organize everything into themed collections
  • Share securely with family members

The app prompts you with thoughtful questions like "Tell me about your wedding day" or "What was your first job like?" to help get stories flowing.

I'm offering it free to try (10 stories to start). Would love feedback from this community - what features would help you most in preserving your family's history?
