Best place to park to visit Brussels

Hi there, we are visiting Brussels for the day tomorrow. We are coming from Lille and have three places we want to visit:

  1. Atomium

  2. The centre (Grande Place, etc)

  3. Chambelland bakery, which is near the university.

Where woukd you recommend the best place to park please? We are OK using public transport but I am struggling to find the best place for all three. Thank you.

Can anyone explain what's happened to trading cards to me please?

I used to love picking some up from Target, etc when in the US. While in Paris today, I went to the Fantatics shop. Bloody hell. Ridiculous prices.

So what's happened? When did a nice little, affordable treat now and again become so damn expensive?

Allergen free food in Lille

Bonsoir!

We are staying in Lille for a week and need to find places for our son to eat, who has allergies to wheat, dairy, soya, egg. Are there any good restaurants, bakeries, fast food places people can recommend please?

Anyone here actually work for Formula E please?

I've got myself in a bit of a pickle.

My local town has had something of a multimillion pound make over recently. So much so that the local MP has been talking up the tunnel that's been built as being similar to Monaco. I suggested to him that we should explore a Formula E race in the town, seeing as I have already designed a circuit around the town (I'm not the only one to do this, right?!) and that we should invite Formula E along for a chat.

He's keen to do so.

Now, I was joking. I mean, the UK round is moving to Brands Hatch. And they would have no interest in a town in the north east of England. But he's keen...

How much is it to host a race these days? 😂

Shout out to the "DJ" choosing the tunes at Boro bus station

I don't know who chooses it or how it's chosen, but I've been sat here for twenty minutes now and it's banger after banger. Currently playing Barry White, "Playing Your Game".

Who's looking forward to the England v Switzerland semi final?

I don't think it's as clear cut for Argentina as many think. They bobbled through their last two matches against average opposition. Switzerland protect their goal, like they did Nazi treasures. And Embolo is looking feisty.

1-0 Switzerland.

Need some inspiration for this Saturday

Hope this is OK to post. We're driving down from the north of England on Saturday (a fun five hours!), as I'm driving my wife and kid down towards Wembley for the Harry Styles concert.

My plan is to drop them on the Metropolitan Line outside of London, so they can tube it in and back there afterwards. That's all fine.

I then will have 8-10 hours to kill and am after some inspiration and ideas if what to do out in that part of London and Hertfordshire. I enjoy cinema, but can't find any cinemas that are showing anything other than the usual stuff at the moment. Normally I'd get a few miles walking in, but I'm carrying an ankle injury so mobility isn't great. Any ideas welcome!

Odeon UK are showing Interstellar on Monday 8th June

Just a heads up to anyone who enjoys watching this great movie on the big screen. It's Saver Monday too, so tickets are cheap. I've noticed it in a good few Odeons, including Metrocentre, for example.

In need of your best weight loss tips - what works for you?

Hello. I'm 194cm and 420lbs. I need to lose weight as I'm now 50.

Ive lost weight before but gained it all back. This is not the heaviest I've been and I'm certainly fitter than I've been in years. That's because I walk - lots. I take part in 50 and 100k ultra walks and although I plod, I finish them.

I guess I've kidded myself that I'm relatively healthy though. I saw a photo of me in one of the walks recently and I'm huge. Hideously so.

I can't get weight loss meds because I don't meet the criteria (I'm in the UK, and you have to meet five criteria to receive them on the NHS - I meet two). They're too expensive for me to buy privately. The specialist weight management service at the local hospital has a two year waiting list. I overeat hideously and know this is my key issue. But I struggle in managing this.

So what can I do? What has worked for you? I'm all open to suggestions. Thank you.
