Dutchess County NY. What kind of wasp is this?
We’ve had three in our house today. All very docile and able to be captured and released. Using the window frame for scale I would say it was about an inch long. AI (blech) is telling me it’s a yellow jacket but I feel like yellow jackets are usually very aggressive.
