to black vegans, how do you feel about animal agriculture being referred to as slavery?

i'm curious on the perspective on the language because i've seen a lot of white vegans use the term. do you find the language diminishing of your experiences or do you feel that the two institutions are comparable? thank you so much for your input! i appreciate anyone taking the time and energy to answer.

edit: this question is for BLACK vegans. i am not interested in opinions from non-black vegans, especially ones who are clearly not able to confront their own part in systems of oppression outside of veganism. being a vegan doesn't absolve you of perpetuating oppression in other ways. you need to value your black peers just as much as you do animals.

[CHAT] Stand recommendations for someone who stitches in bed?

Hi! I have hEDS and would love to start stitching in bed because of my pain levels when sitting but I'm having trouble finding a stand I could use while laying down that also could hold both hoops and a q-snap. Does such a product exist? Thank you very much for any recommendations!
