Aeropress Initiation Stainless or Regular Flow Control Cap?

I have the stainless steel Aero and grinder combo on order along with the stand. I am over pod coffee. Hoping the manual grind isn’t a huge pain. I had a bunch of rewards at William Sonoma that took the sting out of the Aeropress. I make coffee for 2 almost everyday. Any perspective on the flow control material choice and getting started would be appreciated. I will have overlap as I run through all the remaining pods and learn the Aeropress
