Instagram is the worst platform

I actually like Instagram but sometimes scrolling it makes the internet feel fake. Everyone seems to be doing better than you. Someone is travelling every week someone just bought a new car someone is making crazy money and another person is suddenly an expert at everything Then I open Reddit and it's completely different. People talk about things that went wrong. Failed projects bad days awkward situations getting burned by a client or just struggling with something normal. That's probably why I find the difference interesting. Instagram shows you what people want you to see while Reddit usually shows you what people actually experienced. And with AI content bots and automated engagement becoming more common on social platforms I'm starting to wonder how much of what we see is even genuine anymore Do you think Instagram has become too polished or is Reddit just a different kind of internet?

Google's AI situation is getting interesting

The recent changes around Google DeepMind caught my attention because Google has basically been one of the biggest names in AI from the beginning. Google recently reshuffled DeepMind leadership as the company pushes harder to keep up in the AI race. From the outside it's easy to think Google has unlimited resources so they should automatically win But AI doesn't really seem work like that. Do you still see Google as one of the companies most likely to dominate AI or have OpenAI and Anthropic changed the game too much?

Social media feels different when you know how bots work

I started noticing weird patterns on Instagram and TikTok after learning more about automation.

Accounts commenting the same type of message

Random followers appearing Strange engagement spikes Replies that feel almost identical Before learning about bots I probably wouldn't have noticed half of it now I sometimes wonder how much of what looks like normal activity is actually automated Have you started noticing bot behavior more after learning about automation?

TikTok's algorithm still confuses me.

One video gets 200k views the next three barely hit 500.

Same account, same style, same posting time i honestly don't know what TikTok wants anymore.

Has anyone figured it out?

Has anyone actually tried a TikTok view bot?

There are hundreds of services claiming they can boost views overnight what I'm curious about is whether those views actually help videos perform better or if they're just numbers on a screen has anyone tested it?

Why does every social media app seem full of bots now?

Lately I've been noticing the same thing no matter which app I open. I'll scroll Instagram and the comments are full of promotion bots telling people to DM them. Then I jump over to Facebook Marketplace and within minutes of posting something, I get messages that feel completely automated. On YouTube, there are fake giveaway accounts everywhere, and on X it feels like half the replies are spam or AI-generated. Even TikTok seems to have more fake engagement accounts than it used to. It feels like every platform is fighting the same battle and sometimes it's harder to find real conversations than spam I'm curious if it's always been like this and I'm just noticing it now, or if bots have genuinely become a much bigger part of social media over the last year. what do you guys think?

Is anyone else's Instagram feed becoming mostly suggested posts?

I opened Instagram today and realized I barely saw posts from people I actually follow. It was mostly suggested Reels, random pages, and AI-generated content. I'm not even sure if the algorithm knows what I want anymore, or if it's just pushing whatever keeps people scrolling. Has anyone else noticed their feed changing like this?

Is learning n8n still worth it if AI can already build automations?

I'm new to n8n and really enjoying learning it. Recently I've seen a lot of people saying AI will eventually build most automations by itself.

For those of you who use n8n regularly, has AI actually changed your day-to-day work?

If you were starting today, would you still spend time learning n8n? Why or why not?

I'd really like to hear from people with hands-on experience.
