Open Houses

Looking for some insight on how well open houses have been for those of you that use this method to meet and acquire potential new clients.

What is your approach to this and has it worked well for your business?

Personally, I have typically refrained from this approach because I didn’t want agents to feel let down, hoping I was a potential buyer, when in fact I was there to promote my business.

Many people have shared with me that agents actually don’t mind and it’s all about the approach.

How do you feel about this and what has worked well for you?

Client Acquisition - Email Outreach

I’ve seen a number of other RE media owners suggest that they’ve acquired clients through email outreach.

For those of you who this has worked for, what was your approach?

I can’t really say whether it’s worked or not yet because my business just implemented this strategy. We are using a platform similar to mail chimp.

I will post updates on results over the next months. In the meantime, share your experiences and feedback on this approach.

FYI this is not our only approach, but one we’re recently experimenting with as we’d like to scale our growth.

Clearing $100k

For all of you who are clearing $100k …
How long did it take you to get there?

And

What did you do to get your first 20 clients?

I am not clearing $100k yet, but aim to be there soon. I’ve been doing this for about one and a half years.

A lot of people say “free shoots”, but in my opinion this has proven to produce very few agents who’ve reciprocated the value. Being brutally honest, many agents who’ve received free shoots weren’t even so kind as to leave a Google review. To be clear, the quality of my work exceeds many in my market, so it’s not a quality thing, it’s just how some people (and many agents) are.

What are the methods of client acquisition that have proven the highest ROI for you?

Spiro vs. HD Photo Hub

Which are you using?
Which do you prefer?
Why?

I used HDPhotoHub for about a year. I like it and really have zero complaints.

I recently switched to Spiro because I like the interface and client experience better. I feel it looks more “up to date”.

What are some of your thoughts; was this the right move to switch platforms?
