Random Find: Charlie Murphy signed poster from his show at my school! (2007)
In 2023, I used to work at the Student Union of my school during my undergrad. The student union is the main organizing body for events on campus. One day towards the end of semester, we were tasked with clearing out inventory. While cleaning the inventory room, I saw a box full of stuff labeled to be thrown out. Im a huge fan of Chappelle Show and This framed poster was sticking out of the box and “Charlie Murphy” caught my eye.
Turns out Charlie did a standup show at the college in 2007, along with Kyle Grooms as the opener. He signed the poster,

I ended up bringing it home and hung it on my wall. I think I reached out to KG on instagram and he got back to me about this, but I deactivated IG a while back so I’ll have to reactivate and check but im pretty sure I had a conversation with him about it.
Anyways, I never shared it here, but I recently moved houses and was about to put this up in my room, thought I would share this with the good folks of Reddit.
