Has anyone ever been kicked out of the nexplanon group for expressing their genuine feelings and experiences. I think it’s run by the pharma company or paying mods to delete negative comments

Long story short I expressed anger at being essentially coerced as a sedated minor into getting the implant one year after the FDA approved it and how I had it in for way too long due to having a tough go of it in my adolescence and the mod fed me false information and tried to gaslight me and then permanently banned me when I clapped back to correct.

I was one of the first Guinea pigs for nexplanon and I’ve had it in since 17 with one removal and insertion since then. I felt pressured by the providers in the clinic to have it inserted…I was post abortion and still sedated from it…I have heard girls my age who’ve had similar experiences. Anyone?

When I was a teenager I was in an awful relationship I’d left home and got pregnant the night I lost my virginity lol.

So I made the tough decision to get an abortion I was 17 or 18 but in MA (they allow minors to make decisions about BC and other reproductive health decisions) post procedure I had a provider convince me to get nexplanon…called it the “Cadillac of birth control” other women I’ve talked to recall similar language by their providers who pushed nexplanon onto them. If I had known how serious nexplanon can effect you and the risks I wouldn’t have been down to get it. I was also still feeling the effects of the sedatives I was given for the abortion procedure. I’ve since started to believe this was illegal and if not highly unethical. I got it in 2011/1012 and had no idea I was the experiment. Unfortunately I struggled with drug abuse in my 20s so my implant didn’t come out until 25 and I stupidly let them put one back in (I was newly sober and didn’t want to bring a kid into the world).

I had awful migraines for 6 months after. I’m 30 now and I want it out and I’m scared.

The first implant I had in theory would have been useless pass like year 5 but I was with a partner and we were not using any contraceptives and yet I never had a scare or anything. I’m also so scared I’ll find out it’s made me infertile.

Any day one nexplanon girls.
