TESOL Transition to LatAm

Hi, I’m a certified K-12 TESOL teacher in the US. I have taught in Korea and have a master’s in English education. I’m also currently working to recruit some online students to begin to have some cash flow in USD for my inevitable move.
Over the past few years, I’ve become disillusioned with life in the US for several obvious reasons. I’d prefer to be in an affordable city with a lot to offer culturally / social opportunities.
I speak Spanish and have traveled through Latin America. I have friends in both Medellin/Buenos Aires and both cities have caught my attention (mostly Buenos Aires). I’m looking to prioritize social culture, further my education, and have work-life balance.
I would appreciate any advice on the international schools in these communities. What's the work culture like, and is there anyone doing something similar who can offer advice? Thanks!

Building a life in LatAm

Hi, I’m a certified K-12 TESOL teacher in the US. I have taught in Korea and have a master’s in English education. I’m also currently working to recruit some online students to begin to have some cash flow in USD for my inevitable move.
Over the past few years, I’ve become disillusioned with life in the US for several obvious reasons. I live in an area that’s HCOL and truly devoid of culture that aligns with me. I’d prefer to be in an affordable city with a lot to offer culturally with social opportunities.
I speak Spanish and have traveled through Latin America. I have friends in both Medellin/Buenos Aires and both cities have caught my attention (mostly Buenos Aires). I’m looking to prioritize social culture, further my education, and work-life balance.
I would appreciate any advice on the quality of life for expats in these cities or other general tips on how I can make a transition. Thanks!
