Guadeloupe & Dominica currency exchange, is it easy?

I'll be visiting both islands this year and would like to know how I go about changing my currency? Is it best to take cash or will my card be accepted everywhere. I have a feeling that things will be easier in Guadeloupe, so my question is more about Dominica I guess.

Advance flight booking.

Hoping to book my flights to the Caribbean for January, but feeling a little apprehensive with everything that is happening. Normally, I book my flights about 9 months in advance (I can't help myself), without a care in the world. This year though, I desperately want to book, but I don't everything seems to be so up in the air. What are you all doing about flights, are you waiting to the last weeks or month, or following your usual habit?

Air Cariabes or Corsair?

I'll be flying from Paris Orly to Guadeloupe in the New Year, so which of these two would you recommend and why. The times and pricing are similar, so no odds there, but after watching a video, I thought the food (don't judge me) and seating looked better on Corsair. Would appreciate hearing about your experiences, thank you.

Going Home...Dominica , Where do I stay?

I'm going home for a holiday after 45 years. Where to stay though? What to do? No family there anymore, but I want to be back in the community, do no hotels, no All Inclusive, not my vibe at all. Tell me what I should do. Please 🫡
