View of Mortal Sin and Sacrament of Reconciliation?

I'm a Roman Catholic who's very interested in what the general view of Anglo-Catholics (not ordinariate) is regarding the distinctions between mortal and venial sins and if they see mortal sins as something that must be confessed privately with a priest to be in a state of grace. I'm also curious to know how the sacrament of reconciliation is seen in anglo-catholic circles. Is it seen as something necessary and are there guidelines that ensure its validity, such as not withholding any sins, etc.

I hope my thoughts make sense. Thank you and God bless!
