Anyone staying in Waterloo this term down for some side quests!

I’m a UW student and a few of us built this thing called Sonder, basically a weekly mystery side quest box for students

think Timeleft or 222, except it’s students only + no match fee

every week you get surprise side quests like:

  • farmers market runs
  • art/clay activities
  • standup comedy
  • escape rooms
  • hiking
  • random little adventures around kw

you can go with friends or sign up solo and get matched with other students who also wanna get out more this summer

we ran a pilot in march and somehow 100+ waterloo students signed up, ended up meeting a lot of genuinely sweet people and doing 12+ side quests around the city

Would genuinely love to have Laurier students try it out too!!

What is there to do in Waterloo???

well here’s a genuine answer :D

a few of us started making these random “side quest” mystery boxes for uw students where every week you get 3 surprise things to do around kw & school clubs activities.

we’ve ended up doing stuff like cafe hopping, farmers markets, art nights, standup comedy, hiking, escape rooms, board games, etc and honestly it made loo feel way less dead

you can either drag your friends with you or get matched & meet random new ppl

all the photos on the site are from actual side quests in March c:
