Do we know if earth has any of its own ships for defense purposes in the next generation era. We know post burn they do. Also, several other federation plants have their own ships like the vulcans have for an example.

I had a random thought: How do shuttcrats go to warp? Looking at them in the docking bay its hard to believe they have warp cores that small, especially when you see how big they are in regular ships. Granted, i know. im overthinking it. But is it ever talked about even in none cannon
