Calling out
If I have a final warning from a no call no show, and I call out for my shift Sunday will I get fired? I also have a verbal warning from a mistake of another server that caused and issue on a party from when I first started.
My GM is intense and I’m worried that I’ll be fired, but I am supposed to go to a church event Sunday for my cousins graduation and I really don’t want to have to miss it.
Edit: I have the shift posted and texted in the groupchat, but with the way my store works, if it doesn’t get picked up within a couple hours it usually isn’t getting picked up.
Edit again: my shift was picked up, thanks for people who actually gave sound advice and were helpful, the rest of you can go choke. I’ve missed one day in my entire time of working here on accident due to auto pickup being on and me not knowing I had even picked up a shift, OR turned it on. My cousin informed me at wednesday night service that this was happening on Sunday, the schedule had been out for damn near a week when I found out so there was no way for me to put in a request in advance. (It’s not her actual graduation it’s an even our church does to honor the seniors.) everyone so quick to assume and be awful. Gosh everytime I post on here I’m reminded yall are such a miserable group of people.
