Hi everyone

I am a foreign student from Iraq and planning to move to the Czech Republic, specifically to Pilsen, to complete a preparatory language year.

I am looking for honest and realistic opinions on these points.

1 Acceptance at the university: how does it work at universities that don't have entrance exams and rely on high school GPA? How competitive is it for foreign students and does it completely depend on the GPA?

2 Life in Pilsen: what is life like for a foreign student in Pilsen? What are the living costs, accommodation, and the overall atmosphere for students?

3 Difficulty of nostrification: how complicated and demanding are the nostrification exams, 1 to 5 subjects for graduates from natural sciences outside the EU?

4 Part-time job with knowledge of Czech: how hard or easy is it to find a suitable job with good knowledge of Czech, whether in a technical field or regular student jobs?
