This collab has been going viral and everyone has their thoughts. I thought it was creative. Not sure how I feel about a healthy and low calorie tawou2 sandwich tho haha, I like to eat it the traditional way, but the sandwich looked tasty. Everyone’s thoughts?

What’s the tea? What does she do for a living and who is the man she is engaged to? I’m confused why she covers his face in all her engagement pictures. He looks much older. Her engagement was beautiful.

Druze woman looking to revert to Islam

Hello everyone/Salaam. I am a Druze woman of Lebanese origin living in the West who is looking to revert to Islam. For years, I have done my research into Islam. I have learnt about the religion through friends, social media, but also through doing my own research and reading Quran as well as Hadith. Through both the good times and the bad, I found myself coming back to Islam. I have researched many faiths including Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, as well as the faith I was born into, but none of them resonated with me. My experience with the Muslim community has also been good and I have always felt respected when entering a mosque or when I’m at Muslim gatherings. For me, Islam is the closest to the truth. I believe that Muhammad (PHUH) is the true messenger, I believe Islam gave rights to women and honored them and I believe that Islam promotes everything the west fears. Islam promotes modesty, no alcohol, marriage, family values and is anti these terrible western ideologies. Growing up as a Lebanese Druze woman in the west, I never had an identity and I never felt connected to my community. I was never taught anything about my religion by my family. Will I be accepted into Islam as a revert/former Druze and is it true that I get a fresh start and my previous sins will be wiped? A new beginning to become a new person almost and start fresh? Thank you all so much. 💕
