I'm considering going through an alternative certification program to start teaching, however, I'm a little worried about the internship period, where it seems like you are expected to start teaching with no classroom experience beyond observation hours. I think I can handle it, but it seems like a very dramatic transition compared to starting after a student teaching period. Anyone who has gone through an AC program and jumped into the deep end like this, how was your experience? Any advice on making the change easier?
