Cottage scene where Ilya asks if Shane’s parents know
Can someone explain to my why Shane looks away after Ilya asks about his parents?
Is it shame? Like I know it’s uncomfortable but is there any insight in the book that lets us know what he’s thinking? Or what’s your interpretation?
