I’ve been applying for jobs since February, 3 months before my contract was due to expire. It’s now July and I’m unemployed. I’ve probably applied for 100 roles at this point, I’ve had my CV checked over, I put time and effort into every cover letter, and I’ve had zero callbacks. I knew the job market was cooked but I’ve never had this much trouble finding a role in the history of my career.

Is there something I should be considering that I’m currently not? I’m not being picky with roles. I’m applying for roles that are technically below my level, because money is better than no money. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong and it’s stressful as fuck.
