Basically I use Retrodeck and PS3 games load from within Retrodeck perfectly. However if I try opening one of the same games from my Steam Library, it won’t load.

It looks like it’s because Retrodeck uses its own hidden installation of RCPS3 to load games and the launch options on the Steam shortcuts are for the standalone version, even if I make the shortcuts directly from the RCPS3 from within Retrodeck.

I don’t know if anybody else uses Retrodeck and got these to work in both libraries or if it’s not possible.

I love Retrodeck and got RPCS3 games to show up in Retrodeck and load properly.

The problem is that I have to specifically open the version of RPCS3 that Retrodeck installed and add games to it or they won’t open in Retrodeck.

So now whenever I add PS3 games to Steam directly from Retrodeck, they won’t open up. I figured out it’s because the location for RPCS3 that Retrodeck uses is hidden and isn’t being added to the launch options for the Steam shortcuts.

Am I just out of luck or has anybody got them to work?
