Is this a hand punishable offense?

Is this a hand punishable offense?

(Im sorry for not being able to post the images directly to the post) No players are recognizable so i hope mods dont have a problem with that.

State Cup QF. Score 0-0. The goal is not scored by this player, its scored by a teammate**.**

striker goes 1v1 against the goalie, GK makes a save from very short distance (2-3ft) and ball gets rebounded to the striker hand. Strker makes a pass to a teammate and scores.

Is it really worth to put effort on NFHS games instead of showing up, doing the bare minimum, and cash the check?

Its my second year refereeing HS.

At least in my state (IL), coaches are required to submit an evaluation after the game about the offiicials. They are asked about if the referee knows the rules of the contest, physical performance, if they arrive on time (20 minutes before kickoff is the standard), if the uniform is clean and not wrinkly...

According to my profile, im at percentile 84 among my peers, so im proud of what i do on the field and the coaches seem to be happy too.

Two days ago the assignments for post season (Regionals, then there are sectionals, supersectionals and state finals) were posted and I was excluded from them. I didnt got any of them.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to work with a colleague that has been doing it for 17 years and told me that I shouldnt expect any post season assignments for the first 3-4 years.
