Make grandfather proud.

Howdy,

My grandfather raised six girls painting signs and playing jazz. When I was in high school I asked him to teach me how to paint signs. He told me no, and encouraged me to go to design school. He said, “the future of signs is in computers”.

I sadly listened to him. Since then he has passed. It has been a decades long regret, not rebutting his dismissal.

I did go to school for art and design! I even got to be a signage designer/ COR for the National Park Service out of Harper’s Ferry Center for a few years. I have also been a tattooer for over 20 years and have had the privilege to work in some of the best shops in the United States.

I am finally jumping in to sign painting. I purchased the broken pinkies brush set. I plan on buying some 1-shot (red, blue, yellow, black and white).

What else should I purchase to get started?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
