Hello everyone! I’m not so sure if this is the right place to put this, but i’ve recently gotten my “first” job at a retail store. on Sunday I’ve had my first shift where I spent most the day stocking then getting trained on the cash register. Now, I have a few questions I’d wanted to ask but was to nervous to and hoping I’d get a couple of answers here, and if I don’t i’ll suck it up and ask in person. I figured they were to embarrassing because they were really easy questions to be answered I feel, I just couldn’t..

so uh..

1. Am I supposed to ask a higher-up what they want me to do for the day?
2. Am I supposed to leech off others whilst stocking, or am I meant to go towards the back and take out my own?
3. Are you meant to arrive a little earlier but not clock in? yk just in case?

Sorry if these are a little bare bones, but if anyone else also has tips or any other advice for me, id be glad to know!
