I'll be driving from Sydney to Townsville soon and will be taking the coastal route. Just starting the planning but I'd love recommended stops anywhere/everywhere on the way, including overnight stays and activities.

I'll be doing this in late July. I'm thinking probably over five days, which will give me a heap of time to enjoy stops.
