Dog Food Advice
Hi everyone!
I have a 2y/o Labrador retriever who I am trying to get food advice for. He’s currently on The Farmers Dog, but with the class action lawsuit and some of their distasteful marketing I want to discontinue using them I think.
Back story on our Farmers Dog Experience:
Our previous lab who lived to 13, was on TFD for most of his life but at 11 developed Pancreatitis twice and almost died. He later was switched to JFFD’s low fat option and did great. Now with the hindsight of everything going on with TFD, I don’t think I feel comfortable feeding my dog now (Skye) this anymore.
What does everyone recommend. Skye was on Purina Pro plan sport as a puppy and did well on it. I’m open to all suggestions though. He struggles with allergies (environmental), so if any of your recommendations tie in with helping with allergies/itchiness/leaky eyes, that would be great. He’s a lab, so he’s not picky at all, he’d literally eat anything so that’s not a concern. Price is also not a concern. I really just want what’s best for him!
