Thinking of moving to Avilés
Me (argentine, 27F) and my husband (german, 35M) are thinking of moving to aviles for his job (ship industry). I work in art and culture. And we are planning to start having kids soon. We live in the netherlands now, and want to move somewhere with more nature, better weather (i know asturias is rainy, but still better than NL) and warm and open communities (especially since we plan starting a family and won't have our own family and friends at the beginning). What do you think? What advice could you share? I am excited for peace and nature, but since i'm young and very cultural, i'm scared it will be boring for me? (Not trying to offend anyone). Are there young, alternative communities in aviles or region? We want to make friends, raise babies with calm and nature, but also continue growing professionally and remain connected with global cosmopolis (if this makes sense?) Thank you and gracias!
