(mods i’m 14) so for context, i don’t have a “cellphone“. i only have a phone that doesn’t have cellular service. that means i can only imessage people who have iphones, and only be in group chats that only have iphone users. since i am going into high school in september, my dad said that i can get cellular when i go back into school, or if at the end of 4th quarter, i have high honor roll. (i usually have good grades, 80s-90s) i worked hard to try to get high honor roll, and when i looked at them with my dad, i found out i had a 90 average, just honor roll. i cried for i while while my dad hugged me, who said that i should’ve worked just a little bit harder and looked at my grades more often ( i have really bad anxiety and was scared to look at my grades in case they were horrible <my dad is a great person btw, he only wants what’s best for me> )so right after that i went to bed, secretly got a pair of scissors, and… yeah. I do go to therapy, but i’m too scared to say anything, and i had my last session (my therapist was moving to a different state) the day after this happened, and didn’t say anything. i feel like i let down my friends and myself.
