[CA] Can dealer really refuse to honor online quote?

I saw the car I want on a dealers website here in California, so the "Ai agent" asked for my zip code and then emailed me a PDF with an OTD price, which included taxes and fees. Happy with the price I called the dealership and the sales person immediately said, "there's an exception noted on this car so I'll need to talk to the second in command."* Told me that the sales price would be $5,000 higher than the online sales price and then I'd need to add taxes and fees on top.

I said, "well ok, but I have the online quote for ..." and he said he's just "letting me know the rules."

Aside from the obvious eye roll can they really send me a PDF OTD price and then refuse to honor it? Seems pretty misleading...

*as soon as they started using vague verbiage about taking to bosses I knew it would go south

Update: based on helpful comments I confirmed I have a written OTD price, including all taxes and fees, with the specific VIN listed, making it an advertised price under California law. I emailed them to follow up and left a voicemail and nobody will contact me back. Considering I usually get return phone calls from dealers until I cry, I have to believe they know they did bad and are going to try and pretend this OTD quote doesn't exist.

Bringing together my fireplace decoration

My fireplace has set empty for years because when I burn a log, the whole place stinks. I put riverstone and birch wood in it today. I'm pleasantly pleased with the start but it definitely needs some things to finish it off. Suggestions? I assume some battery powered remote controlled lights for one?

When I was an undergrad in 2012 they had these dialogue of civilization summer semesters abroad, and I did the honors program one in Rome.

It was so fun I decided before I start my new job in June, I'm doing another 😂 I enrolled at a language school for adults there but can't wait to be in Rome May 10 to June.... don't underestimate what you can do as an adult

I'm living in Rome for a month to immerse in an adult Italian language school. I live for basketball. Between May 10 and June 5th can I likely see a team like Virtus Bologna in a playoff game at their home arena? If so where should I look for tickets and schedule updates?

Bit of a long shot but I'm studying abroad in Rome. I take adult basketball lessons for fun in the US and want to try and continue this in Rome as part of the cultural experience, anyone know any adult basketball coaches there?
