Leasing Advice!

Anyone in the unfortunate boat of having the best lease deal of the century and now stuck having to make a tough decision? Back in December 2024, I got into a 2025 XC90 Plus T8, with the federal rebate and some negotiation (with the 2025.5 model coming out mid 2026), I’m paying about $600/ month. My 24 month lease is ending in December and I cannot find anything comparable to replace it. All leases right now are around $1000/ month to get an equivalent ride. A non negotiable for me is the 360 camera because it makes parking in my garage a breeze. I’ve looked at Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Kia, Hyundai, Acura. Any one have some insider tips? I am at a loss and have a month to figure this out. I do not want to buy this car out, I work from home and leasing works great for our family!

Hello Volvo gang! My 2025 24 month lease on a T8 Plus is coming to an end in December. The dealer is being pushy and wants me to trade it in early (6 month pull ahead) and get into a B6 (non plug in hybrid) for $213 more a month. In addition, the mileage is being dropped from 12k / year to 10k.

The only car that is close to my monthly payment right now is the XC60, B5.

I’m really struggling because I do not want to downsize, go without the plug in hybrid or essentially downgrade for more money. I could live without the plug in hybrid as I am fully remote.

I know it’s a lease and I’ll have to make a decision sometime but is it worth it to just keep it until December and assess then? Has anyone had any luck with getting out of Volvo’s Third Party Lease buyout? (Mercedes has some great 24 month lease deals right now!)

Is there another option that I should consider here?

P.S. I’m ONLY interested in leasing. I work from home and husband owns his car/ truck. This is a family vehicle that we budget to lease for the foreseeable future.
