My sleeve is completed!!!

Just wanted to show off the completed sleeve. This was a super fun project to design with my artist and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out :)

Questions Before Enlistment

If any prior/active service could help me with a couple questions it would very much be appreciated. For the last 2 years I have been drawn to this conflict and it has increased to the point where I am ready to serve for a multitude of reasons. I have 0 military experience, however I am working on getting into the best shape of my life, have family and my best friend to assist me in training for deployment (former marine combat instructor), BLS/EMT schooling, experience in surveillance/ camera operation and I am willing to shut the fuck up,listen and learn from peers who have experience. I am also a very quick learner and am willing to learn Ukrainian.

I want to help in this war as I have never felt so strongly called to something in my entire The feeling itself I can’t explain but I have several deep reasons for wanting to go. None of these reasons are rooted in money, personal glory or wanting to hurt people. Furthermore I am fully aware of the risks it entails and what I will inevitably be exposed to. I am 27 and I know that I am not invincible and that there is a very real chance I don’t come home should I enlist.

My questions to yall are:

  1. Would I be considered a good candidate to serve despite no combat/ military experience?

  2. Did any of you guys have this same feeling as I do?

  3. How do I tell my family about leaving for war?

  4. What advice do you have that you wish someone told you before you deployed?

Thank y’all and stay safe out there.
