normally I do bigger babushkas/matryoshkas but wanted a smaller + more afford option for people at markets - was fun redesigning my pattern to be similar enough to the original but simpler for the smaller size !
I’m currently studying glass part time and we had to draft an art nouveau inspired panel as an assessment piece, god is pattern design different with came compared to copper foil ! she cracked lol but other than that hiccup and a few wonky spots I think she’s pretty nice 🎀✨
it was a pretty ambitious idea (ignore my inconsistent solder line thickness !) but I’m mostly happy with the result. it was nice making something just for me :))
wish I could have captured the texture better ! I knew I wanted this baby made with clears when I first drew it up :))
had issues with the bulbs being dodgy but once I’ve ordered some new ones they’ll be ready to find their new homes 🥹
