I'm gonna keep this short. So it's currently about 540 pm on my 14th. I'm sitting on my deck listening to my podcasts after both of my hockey teams have been ousted from the playoffs. I got notification. Today is May 14th. 2 years ago the 14th was on a monday. The frost were on the verge of elimination from the playoffs down 2-0 in the series against Toronto after barely able to scratch their way into the playoffs and had been all but written off. But they won. Then proceeded to grind through then PWHL Toronto and then went on to going to the limit against Boston to hoist the cup. I remember this vividly because I woke up than morning not remembering anything past 5 pm the night before. I got home from work poured all.my booze down the drain and took my family to a hockey game. The notification was 2 years sober congratulations
