We have a 16' above ground pool. Water has been nice and clear with just a packet of pool shock every 4 days and back flushing the filter daily or every other day. Then we got a bunch of rain and algae went nuts. I treated it with an algaecide floculant product. This killed the algae but our water has a ton of lime in it and the floculant seems to have triggered the lime to precipitate. So now the water is milkey. I tried adding more floculant to no effect. The lime particles are so small the sand filter does not seem to be doing anything. Just looking for any tips to get this to clear up ASAP. This was not the right weekend for the pool to be gross!

Anyone else see that. Sitting on my back porch in SW Wisconsin. Happened to glance up and just caught the tail end of a fireball breaking up near the eastern horizon. Curious if anyone else saw it.
