visiting dc

hello! im a virginia local visiting d.c. soon. ive been several times but all previous visits were with multiple people well into adulthood. this time, i’m visiting with my fiancé. we are not 21. we’re looking for a hotel for ONE night. preferably under $200. every hotel that says “18+” i have called and they then say 21. i know there has to be SOME exception. if it was winter, i’d car camp. however, it’s summer and thats not an option.

tia!

should i go to the doctor for this?

18f, no smoking/vaping/drinking/etc.

let me preface, i wear sunscreen when i plan to be outside for an extended amount of time, especially when swimming or anything of the sort. i don’t like being burnt and i certainly don’t want cancer. i never tan and the only times i’ve ever tanned are when i have accidentally been burnt and it darkened. i noticed this new (i believe) mole on my back when changing. i have lots of freckles and such, particularly on my back- they look like a constellation almost. i’ve had them for years so im used to them and my dad has them as well, so i’ve never been too concerned.

however, this new one seems to be irregularly shaped. my others are all symmetrical circles.

worried about ALS

18 year old female, no smoking/vaping/drinking, etc. 5’2 119 lbs.

i have been on vacation for the past three days and noticed on day one (driving day) that my right leg was cramping a bit. it’s been since sunday (today is Wednesday) that my right leg as been cramping. it isn’t like a sudden and every so often that it seizes up or something- like a charley horse- but it’s almost constant. it hurts more often than not and relief is sudden and not often. it’s not like a stabbing pain, just a constant ache and tightness. i THINK it’s worse when i lay down. i say i think because i’m also wondering if the placebo effect makes me think its worse when i lay down.

let me mention that i have ocd and i am aware that i am a hypochondriac, but i also try to think critically. i am TERRIFIED that i have als.

i know it’s unlikely, but what if i’m the one in the million. there has to be somebody.

please help me ease my mind? im so terrified and everyone keeps making fun of me.
