I’m a journalist/editorial professional looking to transition into UX writing/content design and was curious if anyone here has made a similar pivot from journalism into tech.

I’ve spent a few years doing reporting, editing, and publication workflow management, and I’ve recently started building UX writing/content case studies and learning more about content design.

I’d especially love advice on:

• how people positioned journalism experience for UX/content roles,
• networking/community resources,
• and what helped make the transition successful.
