Theory: The memory-loss drugs will be used to successfully lie to the AI
Okay so in "A Dark Web" we're shown a conversation between Camille and the AI. The AI enlightens Camille as to why she was chosen for her position: she lies well. Unfortunately, that skill doesn't seem to carry over to the AI as it detects her lies quite easily.
With the recent revelations surrounding the memory loss drugs (pill version & Vitamin D+) being used to not only erase memories but replacing them with carefully constructed narratives, I could see Camille using the drugs to erase her own memories and replacing them with a narrative she wants the AI to believe.
How can Camille lie without lying? By believing the lie so completely that even she doesn't know she's lying.
(I have no knowledge of the books or what actually happens - just a fun little line of thought!)
