Never filed KRA nil returns since 2022. What should I do?
Hello everyone,
So I only recently discovered that if you don't have any taxable income, you're still supposed to file nil returns every year.
I've never had an income, so I hadn't filed any nil returns since I got my KRA PIN. I've now gone back and filed all the outstanding returns, but I've been hit with KSh 8,000 in penalties.
From what I've seen, the Request Penalty Waiver option is no longer available on the iTax portal.
