Andy Reid was right to bench Kingsley Suamataia despite the risk
A short, concise article that I think neatly sums up how this situation should be considered by the fan base. We are privileged in that we get to root for one of the best Quarterback and head coach duos of the century so far. We are in the good old days *right now*, and some of you would do well to appreciate that.
Mahomes isn't going to play forever. Andy Reid is likely going to retire 5 or more years before Patrick decides to hang it up. We don't know who we're getting after him, but chances are at least at first he won't be as good of a coach as one of the top 5 all time guys like Big Red is. Patrick, Travis, Chris Jones, all the guys that make this team what it is believe in Andy Reid, and we should too, even if sometimes the guy can make decisions on the field and off that seem bizarre in the moment.
tl;dr we should be upset with Kingsley for getting himself benched, not Andy for deciding to bench him.
