I'm in no way condoning this but to give anyone some unsolicited hope, I'm less than 2 weeks out and heading back to my very sedentary job tomorrow. I had a really positive recovery after a full hysterectomy (ovaries still intact). My favorite part of this experience so far was when the nurses made a heart out of the bandage surrounding the incision in my belly button. It's so insignificant but brought me so much comfort.
