Is it appropriate to wear a Zhongshan suit in China as a foreigner?

Im going to be living in China for a few months and was wondering if a zhongshan suit is ok to wear on formal occasions where one might wear a suit/dress or if its considered outdated or inappropriate/weird for a foreigner to wear? I always really liked the style but the only people i see wear them today are Xi Jinping and party officials on some special occasions.

Can someone please explain civil rights vs. civil liberties

I understand that civil rights are protections from the state, (including rule of law?) and political rights guarantee political participation (negative vs positive freedom) but i dont specifically understand what civil rights actually are composed of and how they differ from civil liberties? I keep seeing different answers which often just overlap with civil liberties
